Saint Laurent bag colour change from black to red

1. Cleaning: Mix Multi-Purpose Leather Cleaner and Leather Cleaning Additive at 3:1; dilute with 5~10 times hot water and add 5% Heavy-Duty Degreaser. Wipe or brush away dirt. Where mould is present, also add 5% Anti-Mould Bactericide.

2. Base preparation: Carefully wipe the leather surface with alcohol to improve colour adhesion, then apply a light, thin spray coat of Adhesion Resin to improve bonding of the base colour.

3. Colour mixing: Mix Smooth Leather Resin, High-Strength Colouring Resin and Oil-Wax Enhancing Additive at 4:1:1, then tint with colour paste. Add 10 drops of Enhanced Curing Crosslinker before spraying. The base and top colours use the same material ratio but different colours.

4. Spray the base colour: Changing black to red is a dark-to-light change, so first apply an even light base that completely covers the black. A greyish white with a red undertone is recommended.

5. Spray the top colour: After spraying the base, air dry for 30 minutes before applying the top colour. Use medium air and medium fluid, spraying horizontally then vertically in a cross pattern for even, natural colour.

Colour fixing: Spray Odourless Wear-Resistant Fixative and Oil-Wax Enhancing Additive at 2:1. Use a well-atomising gun at low air and medium fluid, leaving the surface just moist.
