Chanel lambskin bag hand recolouring

1. Cleaning: 1. Lambskin surface: Mix Aniline Leather Cleaner and Leather Cleaning Additive at 3:1; dilute with 5~10 times hot water and add 5% Heavy-Duty Degreaser. Wipe or brush away dirt. Where mould is present, also add 5% Anti-Mould Bactericide.

2. Damage repair: 1. Sand raised, worn fibres smooth with 800-grit fine sandpaper. 2. This case has only slight abrasion, raised fibres and colour loss, with no missing leather or major damage. Apply only a thin layer of Topcoat Finishing Repair Paste to repair and seal the surface. Do not apply too much; the thinner the better. Colour can then be applied.

3. Colour mixing: 1. Mix Aniline Extra-Soft Resin, Texture Enhancer and Oil-Wax Enhancing Additive at 5:1:1, tint with colour paste and add 6~10 drops of crosslinker before application. 2. For the vivid colour, add an appropriate amount of Super-Vivid Emerald-Green Colour Paste to increase saturation.

4. Colour coverage: First hand-cover repaired areas with a high-density sponge or cotton bud. Apply several even coats; each must dry completely before the next, otherwise crumbling and colour loss may occur.

5. Final sealing: Spray Colourless Extra-Soft Fixative. If high gloss is required, choose High-Gloss Extra-Soft Fixative.

A minor-wear lambskin case with vivid green colour mixing and fully dried layers of hand-applied coverage.

Thin repair assumes minor damage

The source states there is no missing leather or major damage. That condition defines the scope of thin finishing repairs.

Saturation is a key colour target

The source uses super-vivid emerald green and adds crosslinker before application. Preserve both colour direction and mixing timing.

Hand application and sealing have separate conditions

Dry each coat before the next, then select the final gloss as needed. Local coverage does not replace final sealing.

Questions and answers

Does this repair cover missing leather or major damage?

No. The source explicitly describes a case without those defects. Do not extend this minor-repair method to serious losses.
